Indonesian Scholars International Convention (ISIC)

The Indonesian Scholars International Convention (ISIC) is an annual academic forum organized by the Indonesian Student Association in the United Kingdom (PPIUK) since 2001. As one of the most prestigious international academic conferences for Indonesian students and scholars abroad, ISIC serves as a platform for sharing research, expanding networks, and discussing strategic issues related to Indonesia in both global and national contexts.

This convention brings together researchers, students, professionals, and experts from various disciplines to discuss the latest findings, academic trends, and challenges faced by Indonesia across different sectors. With a multidisciplinary approach, ISIC is not only a forum for exchanging ideas but also a platform that encourages cross-disciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration to find innovative solutions to emerging social, economic, political, environmental, and technological issues.

ISIC also plays a vital role in building academic and professional networks between Indonesian students abroad and educational institutions, the industrial sector, and policymakers. Each year, the conference features distinguished speakers, including academics from prestigious universities, industry practitioners, and key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors.

As a continuously evolving forum, ISIC is not just an academic platform but also a crucial part of efforts to strengthen the contributions of the Indonesian academic diaspora in national development and in advancing scholarly discourse on Indonesia at the international level.
